What this site is
ecogpt.co publishes Your AI Wrapped, which estimates the footprint of your own ChatGPT and Claude use from your data export, and the AI Sustainability Index: rankings, company profiles, model data, charts, a calculator, an incident record and a policy tracker. It is operated by EcoGPT, a Delaware public benefit corporation (“EcoGPT”, “we”). By using the site or subscribing to the newsletter you agree to these Terms.
Your AI Wrapped
Your Wrapped is an estimate built from public per-prompt figures and the factors on our How it works page. It is not a measurement of your account and the providers have not reviewed it. Exports leave out things like hidden reasoning and training, so treat the totals as a floor.
Only open exports that belong to you. ecogpt.co is not affiliated with OpenAI or Anthropic. ChatGPT is a trademark of OpenAI and Claude is a trademark of Anthropic; we use the names only to say which exports we can read.
Editorial content, not advice
Scores, grades and commentary are editorial opinion built from the public sources cited on each page using the methodology at /methodology. They are not financial, investment, procurement or legal advice, and they do not certify any company. Figures labelled “estimate” or “derived” are our calculations and may be wrong.
We correct material errors and offer every ranked company right of reply before each edition. Requests go to team@ecogpt.com.
Our interest
EcoGPT also makes an AI assistant, at ecogpt.com, and the site links to it. That is why EcoGPT is not ranked in the index. No company pays to be included, ranked or corrected.
Sources and third-party content
We link to company reports, regulatory filings, research and press coverage. Those materials belong to their publishers. Brand names and marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the companies discussed.
Licence to our content
Unless marked otherwise, the index data and our written analysis are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. Reuse them with attribution to ecogpt.co and a link to the page. Illustrations, logos and wordmarks are excluded.
Acceptable use
Don't scrape the site in a way that degrades service, present our scores as certifications or endorsements, or remove attribution and source links when republishing index data.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is”. We make no warranty that it is accurate, complete, current or uninterrupted. Companies restate their figures; check the primary source before relying on one.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EcoGPT is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to USD 100.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these Terms; the date above changes when we do. Using the site after a change means you accept the new Terms.
